Nikki Fanous, Senior Counsel at the Firm, is an accomplished attorney with diverse public and private in-house roles, as well as significant law firm experience. As a member of the Kane Russell Coleman & Logan, P.C.’s Real Estate Practice Group, she focuses her practice in real estate, finance, and transactional matters.

Nikki has more than two decades of experience negotiating complex transactions. Prior to joining KRCL, Nikki served as associate general counsel at Michaels Stores, Inc., where she was responsible for all real estate legal matters, including drafting and negotiating retail, office and industrial leases, title and survey review, subordination and non-disturbance agreements, construction contracts, architect agreements, landlord-tenant dispute matters, and lease administration matters. She has also acted as general counsel at a Dallas-based full-service real estate firm. In this role, she handled complex real estate and business transactions, oil and gas and employment issues. She was also partner at Jackson Walker where her practice focused on acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, property management issues and transactional matters.

Nikki is regularly recognized and honored for her representation of clients. She was selected by her peers for the Texas Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars published by Thomson Reuters, a designation given to lawyers under 40 who are viewed by their colleagues as preeminent in their respective practice areas.She has also been chosen for both Marquis “Who’s Who in American Law”and “Who’s Who of American Women.”
