Camille Penniman is the Vice President of Legal at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the country’s fastest growing restaurant concept with 330 restaurants in 23 states and the Middle East. She joined the company as its first in-house lawyer in 2014, and she handles all legal issues for the company, including employment, marketing, intellectual property, litigation, finance, franchise (domestic and international), and corporate.
Camille was previously Associate General Counsel at Sabre Inc., a travel technology company, where she managed commercial and intellectual property litigation, including the company’s defense of two antitrust lawsuits and a DOJ investigation. As a result of her work at Sabre, she received the 2013 D Magazine Award for Outstanding Associate General Counsel – Midsize Legal Department. Camille graduated Order of the Coif from Vanderbilt University in 2003 and began her career in private practice at Baker Botts LLP and Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP.
In her personal time, she manages a busy life with her husband and three daughters and enjoys traveling and kickboxing.
