Nancy K. Jagielski is Associate General Counsel (HR) & Chief Ethics Officer for Conduent Business Services LLC Jagielski joined Conduent on June 1, 2009 as Vice President and Senior Corporate Counsel working primarily in the employment arena. In 2011, Jagielski was promoted to Group Counsel and began managing Conduent’s Labor & Employment Group, which consists of 5 attorneys, 2 paralegals and 2 support staff. She is responsible for all employment related litigation (including class actions), arbitrations, mediations, agency charges, government audits, demand letters and disputes. She is also responsible for providing advice and counsel on a wide variety of workplace issues including, I-9 compliance, conflicts of interest, reductions in force, mergers and acquisitions, investigations and executive escalations, and for handling immigration matters.
On November 1, 2016, in anticipation of the separation of Conduent from its former parent company, Jagielski was named Chief the Ethics Officer for Conduent. Just two months later, Jagelski successfully launched the company’s Ethics Program on January 1, 2017. She is a member of the North Texas Ethics and Compliance Council.
Prior to joining Services, Jagielski worked for Bank of America Corp. (f/k/a Countrywide Financial Corp.). She was initially hired as the first Texas based labor and employment lawyer. In 2004, she was promoted for the 3rd time in 3 years to a human resources executive role where she was responsible for employee relations, human resources compliance, leaves of absence and accommodations, and due diligence for merger & acquisitions. Jagielski has also served as in-house employment and/or corporate counsel for Optical Switch Corp., Marketing Specialists Sales Co. (a Mary Kay, Inc. affiliate), and M.A.P.A., Inc. She was recruited directly from law school and began her legal career at Strasburger & Price in Dallas, Texas.
Jagielski graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a finance emphasis) in 1983, magna cum laude. She immediately started law school and graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 1986, cum laude. She was in the top 15% of her law school class and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. She is licensed in the State of Texas and a member of the Dallas Bar Association and Association of Corporate Counsel. She is affiliated with, and volunteers for, various community and pro bono organizations
