Alejandra Salinas

Alejandra C. Salinas is a trial lawyer who has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts across the country. Earlier this year, Alejandra, along with Lexie White and Ryan Caughey, represented the Austin-based internet marketing company, Wickfire, in a complicated internet click-fraud dispute in federal court. During the trial, Alejandra handled the direct examination of Wickfire’s damages expert. After a few hours of deliberation, the jury rejected the other side’s $22 million-dollar counterclaim and awarded Wickfire $2.3 million in compensatory damages.
Alejandra joined Susman Godfrey after clerking for Chief Judge Sidney R. Thomas on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Outside of the courtroom, Alejandra has spoken to audiences across the country and around the world about the Latino community and national political parties. In 2012, as the former National President of the College Democrats of America, Alejandra addressed 20,000 delegates on the final night of the Democratic National Convention in a nationally televised speech. From 2013 through 2016, Alejandra addressed U.S. embassies as a member of U.S. Department of State’s Speaker Program. She has also appeared on various national media outlets including USA Today, MTV, CNN, Politico, The Advocate, Univision, and Telemundo. She is a graduate of the University of Texas and Boston College Law School.
