Kimberly Warnica joined the Company in October 2016. Prior to joining Marathon Oil, Ms. Warnica served as Assistant General Counsel & Assistant Secretary for Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas (formerly Plains Exploration & Production Company). She began her legal career as an associate practicing corporate and securities law at Andrews Kurth LLP.

Ms. Warnica holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University, and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is a member of the Houston Bar Association.
