Nicole Moss

General Counsel/Outside Counsel at Next Gen Capital Holdings, Inc

Nicole Moss serves as General Counsel and Secretary to Geophysical Technology, Inc., and two additional early stage companies. She is active in Houston’s startup community as a lawyer, mentor, advisor, and speaker.Nicole previously worked in private practice, advising early stage companies on corporate and securities matters, and served as General Counsel for Kenmont Capital, a Houston-based private equity fund platform. Before that Nicole was an associate in the Boston office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she advised private equity and venture capital funds on fund formation and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, she worked at a startup incubator in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the talent acquisition group and ran BluePrint, Inc., a small company that provided non-core services to startups. Nicole is licensed to practice in Texas and Massachusetts. She is a regular guest lecturer on corporate law for entrepreneurs at the University of Houston Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship and serves as a member of the board of Community Ventures, a Houston-based non-profit organization.
