Liz helps businesses and individuals right wrongs. Creative and detail-oriented, Liz has helped clients obtain tens of millions of dollars in trial victories and settlements, and has helped her clients defeat billions of dollars in claims. Liz specializes in breach of contract, business tort, employment, and intellectual property cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She has been honored as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star” from 2014 to 2017 and named on “Benchmark Litigation Under 40 Hot List” in 2017 and 2018.
A few of Liz’s victories include representing a national financial services company in an internet defamation case and obtaining a record-setting verdict of $12,500,000, representing a national private lender in a breach of contract case and obtaining a judgment of more than $7,000,000, representing an individual on appeal of an arbitration award and obtaining confirmation of the $1,636,000 award, and representing a Fortune 100 company in a fraudulent transfer case and obtaining a jury award of more than $3,300,000 and attorney’s fees.
Liz earned her J.D. from William and Mary School of Law. She clerked for the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit where she worked on appeals for the First, Third, Sixth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits. Liz also interned with the Honorable Richard T. Haik, Jr., the Chief Judge of the Western District of Louisiana.
Liz proudly serves on the Women of Tocqueville’s Steering Committee and the Advocacy Committee for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
