Kenya S. Woodruff is a partner at Haynes and Boone LLP and Chair of the Health Care Practice Group. She is also the Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and a member of the Board of Directors. She provides advice to health systems, hospitals, accountable care organizations, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, diagnostic imaging centers, and pharmacies on regulatory and transactional matters.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry, having previously served as a Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer of a national publicly-traded radiology services company and as Deputy General Counsel at Parkland Health & Hospital System.
Kenya was recognized in Chambers USA for Healthcare in 2015-2018; featured in D Magazine’s Best Lawyers list for Healthcare Law, 2014-2018; selected for inclusion in Texas Rising Stars in Healthcare Law in 2009 and 2013; and featured in Texas Super Lawyers in Healthcare Law in 2014- 2017.
She received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1999 and her B.A. degrees both in philosophy and political science from Emory University in 1996.
