Yesenia E. Cárdenas, a partner at Bowman and Brooke, focuses her practice on complex product liability defense, including class actions and multi-district litigation for some of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. In this regard, Yesenia has served on the lead counsel teams representing Toyota, Honda, GM, Kia, and others, in defense of automotive product liability lawsuits.

As a committed advocate and community leader, Yesenia has shared her professional insights through speaking engagements with the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Hispanic National Bar Association. She has also authored several legal articles published by the ABA. Yesenia is very active in several legal and professional organizations, including the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, for which she served as Vice President for several years. In practice since 2006, she received her law degree, graduating cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and received her undergraduate degrees from Southern Methodist University in Finance and International Languages. Yesenia is fluent in Spanish and French.

This award is the latest to recognize Yesenia, who also serves on Bowman and Brooke’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Yesenia previously has been honored by the Dallas Business Journal as a “2018 Women in Business”.
